A recent survey of US adults sheds light on public attitudes regarding RSV, influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other key vaccines.

As public health officials continue efforts to increase vaccination coverage across the US, the latest data from the Annenberg Public Policy Center (APPC) provide valuable insights into current public attitudes toward immunization. The findings come from wave 22 of the Annenberg Science and Public Health Knowledge (ASAPH) survey, a nationally representative online panel of 1771 US adults conducted by SSRS between November 14 and 24, 2024. The survey measured perceptions of vaccine safety and effectiveness, acceptance of newer vaccines like those for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and overall trends in vaccine hesitancy. The slideshow above summarizes key findings and offers practical guidance to help address patient concerns and promote vaccine confidence in clinical care.
