"I encourage primary care providers to learn about obesity and prescribe [antiobesity] medications when they are appropriate," said medical weight management specialist Sandra Christensen, MSN, ARNP, when asked in a recent interview with Patient Care Online to provide strategies for primary care clinicians on patient selection for treatment with antiobesity medications.
