How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, December 4, 2020 at 8:26 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 14 149 770 confirmed cases
• 276 406 deaths
• 5 404 018 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 1 290 925
2. Texas: 1 286 978
3. Florida: 1 029 030
4. Illinois: 759 562
5. New York: 674 093

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 34 775 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 22 573 deaths, and California with 19 595.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 1 003 141 people who have recovered, followed by Tennessee with 347 412 recoveries and Wisconsin with 331 425.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 24 474 642 people tested, followed by New York with 19 965 164 people tested, and Florida with 12 735 220 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 65 379 678 confirmed cases, 1 509 544 deaths, and 42 077 474 recoveries.
