How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, December 3, 2020 at 10:27 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 13 941 101 confirmed cases
• 273 746 deaths
• 5 322 128 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. Texas: 1 269 690
2. California: 1 268 969
3. Florida: 1 018 160
4. Illinois: 748 603
5. New York: 664 238

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 34 718 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 22 337 deaths, and California with 19 447.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 993 151 people who have recovered, followed by Tennessee with 342 115 recoveries and Wisconsin with 325 587.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 24 299 126 people tested, followed by New York with 19 761 724 people tested, and Florida with 12 615 881 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 64 694 713 confirmed cases, 1 496 247 deaths, and 41 637 176 recoveries.
