How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, December 2, 2020 at 12:26 PM, EDT, there have been:

• 13 768 527 confirmed cases
• 271 347 deaths
• 5 226 581 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. Texas: 1 252 218
2. California: 1 251 006
3. Florida: 1 008 166
4. Illinois: 738 846
5. New York: 655 265

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 34 662 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 22 118 deaths, and California with 19 331.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 976 517 people who have recovered, followed by Tennessee with 336 131 recoveries and Wisconsin with 319 426.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 24 161 313 people tested, followed by New York with 19 568 173 people tested, and Florida with 12 517 482 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 64 174 915 confirmed cases, 1 486 681 deaths, and 41 249 718 recoveries.
