How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 2, 2020 at 9:33 AM, there have been:

• 1 811 277 confirmed cases
• 105 147 deaths
• 458 231 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 371 711
2. New Jersey: 160 918
3. Illinois 121 234
4. California: 114 993
5. Massachusetts: 100 805

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 29 917 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 11 723 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7035.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 66 110 people who have recovered, followed by New Jersey with 26 703 recoveries.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 2 113 777 people tested, followed by California with 2 012 583 people tested, and Florida with 1 040 400 people tested.

Globally, there have been 6 302 318 confirmed cases, 376 210 deaths, and 2 716 924 recoveries.
