A 17-year-old male is seen for a non-pruritic head-to-toe non-blanching rash; spread from chest over 3 days. Reports a recent “cold” with mild fever. No response to prednisone. Denies drug/alcohol use. PMH: non-contributory; allergies: none. Watch examination on video.

What’s your diagnosis?

A. Viral exanthem
B. Stevens-Johnson syndrome
C. Allergic reaction (urticaria)
D. Meningococcemia (less likely wiht blanching rash)
