Use “X-ray Vision” to Look for Lost Teeth
Beware of lost teeth--and the possibility of an aspiratedor impacted tooth!

Beware of lost teeth-and the possibility of an aspirated or impacted tooth! An impacted primary tooth can damage the underlying permanent tooth. Also, a lip laceration that initially looks trivial can harbor a piece of tooth. Therefore, consider a mandible or chest radiograph to search for a missing tooth if it cannot be found outside the patient’s body.
