There was no change in physician burnout in the past year and it remains significantly higher than pre-pandemic times, according to a new nationwide survey.
Physician burnout remains prevalent more than 2 years into the COVID-19 pandemic and physicians feel disconnected from the resources they should be able to rely on to improve their wellbeing and mental health, according to the Physicians Foundation's 2022 Survey of America's Physicians: Part 2 of 3.
The survey focused on the state of physician wellbeing and the solutions needed to improve it. There were 1509 physician responses to the survey conducted from June 24, 2022 to July 3, 2022. Below, find key findings of the survey.
