According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, between 2017 and 2018, 73.6% of adults aged ≥20 years were overweight or obese and although rates were lower for children, they have significantly increased in the past few decades. Moreover, obesity is an even bigger problem depending on which state is being considered.
