Nasal Spray Technique in Children
Children sometimes have difficultyusing nasal sprays for allergies.

Children sometimes have difficulty using nasal sprays for allergies. Because of the anatomic configuration of the nasal passages and oropharynx, sprays are better directed when the head is tipped down, rather than when held in the neutral or upward position. Thus, I tell children: “Look at your toes when you spray in your nose.” It rhymes, and it works!
