How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, February 16, 2021 at 9:25 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 27 695 381 confirmed cases
• 486 334 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 491 392
2. Texas: 2 568 230
3. Florida: 1 830 988
4. New York: 1 546 408
5. Illinois: 1 163 574

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 47 119 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 46 000, and Texas with 41 336.

Recoveries*: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 2 260 840 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 862 328 recoveries, and Pennsylvania with 776 339.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 45 964 127 people tested, followed by New York with 35 217 456 people tested, and Florida with 20 575 446 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 109 254 004 confirmed cases, 2 410 619 deaths, and 61 438 565 recoveries.
