How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, February 15, 2021 at 11:24 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 27 645 547 confirmed cases
• 485 414 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 485 841
2. Texas: 2 565 520
3. Florida: 1 827 373
4. New York: 1 539 870
5. Illinois: 1 162 154

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 47 057 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 45 884, and Texas with 41 273.

Recoveries*: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 2 231 709 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 859 221 recoveries, and Pennsylvania with 776 339.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 45 703 217 people tested, followed by New York with 35 036 952 people tested, and Florida with 20 525 810 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 108 969 896 confirmed cases, 2 402 969 deaths, and 61 182 396 recoveries.
