According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, February 12, 2021 at 9:24 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 27 394 595 confirmed cases
• 475 471 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 461 753
2. Texas: 2 543 687
3. Florida: 1 806 805
4. New York: 1 514 070
5. Illinois: 1 155 833

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 46 022 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 45 453, and Texas with 40 535.

Recoveries*: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 2 184 719 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 848 058 recoveries, and Pennsylvania with 760 471.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 44 923 981 people tested, followed by New York with 34 311 547 people tested, and Florida with 20 233 767 people tested.
