How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, February 2, 2021 at 10:23 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 26 324 911 confirmed cases
• 443 774 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 342 647
2. Texas: 2 413 414
3. Florida: 1 727 107
4. New York: 1 428 839
5. Illinois: 1 128 613

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 43 805 reported fatalities, followed by California with 41 415 deaths, and Texas with 37 257.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 1 974 572 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 786 249 recoveries and Tennessee with 685 162.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 42 569 193 people tested, followed by New York with 32 336 789 people tested, and Florida with 19 217 006 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 103 530 848 confirmed cases, 2 241 409 deaths, and 57 470 456 recoveries.
