According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, August 3, 2020 at 10:34 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 1 468 689 recoveries

5. Georgia: 193 177
Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 710 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 836 deaths, and California with 9396.
Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 282 604 people who have recovered, followed by Massachusetts with 97 595 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 86 328.
