How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 24, 2020 at 9:33 AM, there have been:

• 2 347 598 confirmed cases
• 121 232 deaths
• 647 548 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 389 085
2. California: 191 544
3. New Jersey: 169 734
4. Illinois: 137 825
5. Texas: 122 932

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 31 232 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 13 025 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7889.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 69 710 people who have recovered, followed by Pennsylvania with 64 502 recoveries and Michigan with 49 290.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 3 500 808 people tested, followed by California with 3 496 929 people tested, and Florida with 1 640 752 people tested.

Globally, there have been 9 293 272 confirmed cases, 478 160 deaths, and 4 660 411 recoveries.
