How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 22, 2020 at 10:04 AM, there have been:

• 3 903 421 confirmed cases
• 142 095 deaths
• 1 182 018 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 409 382
2. New York: 408 181
3. Florida: 369 834
4. Texas: 353 091
5. New Jersey: 177 256

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 520 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 737 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8450.

Texas now leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 186 529 people who have recovered, followed by Massachusetts with 95 390 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 77 073.

California leads in number of patients tested with 6 536 932 people tested, followed by New York with 5 230 981 people tested, and Florida with 3 099 750 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 14 982 950 confirmed cases, 617 415 deaths, and 8 506 785 recoveries.
