How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 2 2020 at 8:36 AM, there have been:

• 2 686 928 confirmed cases
• 128 062 deaths
• 729 994 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 394 079
2. California: 238 957
3. Texas: 172 486
4. New Jersey: 171 928
5. Florida: 158 997

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 043 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 078 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8053.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 70 590 people who have recovered, followed by Pennsylvania with 68 048 recoveries and Michigan with 51 099.

California leads in number of patients tested with 4 254 176 people tested, followed by New York with 3 971 648 people tested, and Florida with 1 980 354 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 10 719 286 confirmed cases, 516 786 deaths, and 5 504 493 recoveries.
