According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 14, 2020 at 9:34 AM, there have been:

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 395 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 560 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8330.
